Cottages
We have three self-contained cottages for hire within the hotel grounds. All have a sitting area with digital television; a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer & washing machine; and a bath/shower room. Each cottage has beautiful views across Loch Scridain and, as they face west you get to experience some wonderful sunsets.
Pine Cottage has a twin bedroom & a double bedroom and comfortably sleeps four. There is an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The weekly charge is between £300 (off peak) - £375 (peak).
Clansman Cottage also has a separate lounge area. The cottage has a twin & a double bedroom with a small dressing/bedroom just off, which is an ideal place for a cot or an occasional bed. The weekly charge is £300 (off peak) - £450 (peak).
Oak Cottage is the largest cottage with three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin). For your comfort we prefer to let this to no more than four adults. There is also a large kitchen/dining/sitting area. The weekly charge is £300 (off peak) - £475 (peak).
Off peak is November, December, January, February & March (not Christmas, New Year or Easter). Peak is all other times.
All prices include hot water, heating & electricity, bedlinen and towels.
Cottages are available from 3pm on the first day of hire.
We have almost finished the refurbishing and redecorating the cottages. Just a couple of bedrooms need to be redecorated, this will take place during the winter of 2009/2010.
Please remember to stock up with the bulk of your provisions before leaving the mainland. There is a local store situated at the Post Office at Pennyghael who if given enough notice are able to order in whatever supplies you need.
